Center for Health & Healing Building 1

The Center for Health & Healing Building 1, often referred to as CHH, is located in Portland's South Waterfront district at the base of the Portland Aerial Tram. The Center for Health & Healing Building 1 houses many of OHSU's outpatient clinics. The building's main lobby includes the Casey Eye Optical Studio, an OHSU pharmacy, and the Daily Café and coffee stand. The march wellness and fitness center is located on the 2nd floor.

  • Proceed south, then turn left onto S. Harrison Street.
  • Cross over Naito Parkway.
  • Turn right onto S. Moody. (expect delays during construction)
  • Turn left onto S. Curry.
  • Turn left onto S. Bond.
  • Turn left onto S. Whitaker to enter the parking garage.

From the south via I-5

  • Take exit 299B, a left-side exit (signed “City Center/S Waterfront”).
  • Bear left again (signed “City Center/S Waterfront”) as the exit splits.
  • Turn right onto S. River Parkway (at the first traffic signal).
  • Turn right onto S. Moody.
  • Turn left onto S. Curry.
  • Turn left onto S. Bond.
  • Turn left onto S. Whitaker to enter the parking garage.  

From the south via S. Macadam or Sellwood Bridge

  • Travel north on S. Macadam.
  • Turn right onto S. Curry.
  • Turn left onto S. Bond.
  • Turn left onto S. Whitaker to enter the parking garage.

From the south via S. Barbur Blvd.

  • Travel north on S. Barbur Blvd.
  • Exit onto S. Naito Parkway.
  • Turn right onto S. Harrison.
  • Turn right onto S. Moody. (expect delays during construction)
  • Turn left onto S. Curry.
  • Turn left onto S. Bond.

From the west via Hwy 26

  • Pass through the Vista Tunnel and stay in the center lane to exit onto S. Market Street.
  • Stay on Market Street.
  • Cross over Naito Parkway onto S. Harbor Drive.
  • At the second light, turn left onto S. Harrison.
  • Turn right onto S. Moody. (expect delays during construction)
  • Turn left onto S. Curry.
  • Turn left onto S. Bond.
  • Turn left onto S. Whitaker to enter the parking garage.

From the east via Hwy 26

  • Travel onto Ross Island Bridge.
  • Use the right lane to merge onto OR-43 S/S Hood Ave (signed "Salem/Lake Oswego/I-5 S").
  • Follow signs for OR-43 S.
  • Move to the middle lane (signs for South Waterfront).
  • Turn left onto S Macadam Ave.
  • Turn right onto S Curry St.
  • Turn left onto S Bond Ave.
  • Turn left onto SW Whitaker St. to enter the parking garage.

From north via I-5 or from east via Ross Island Bridge

  • As you cross the river on the Marquam Bridge, stay in the far right lane.
  • Take exit 299A to 43/Lake Oswego/Macadam. As you exit, move to the middle lane.
  • Follow the signs to “South Waterfront.” As the road curves to the left, stay to the left.
  • At the light, turn left onto S. Macadam.
  • Turn right onto S. Curry.
  • Turn left onto S. Bond.
  • Turn left onto S. Whitaker to enter the parking garage. 

From the north via I-405

  • Follow signs for I-405 (Salem/The Dalles.)
  • Take Exit 1C (S. 6th Ave.)
  • Stay in left lane and follow signs for 6th Ave./City Center/Auditorium.
  • Turn left onto S. 6th Ave .
  • Turn right onto S. Harrison.
  • Cross over S. Naito Parkway.
  • Turn right onto S. Moody Ave. (expect delays during construction)
  • Turn left onto S. Curry.
  • Turn left onto S. Bond.
