About me

Natoya Carruthers, PA-C is a physician assistant who sees patients with a wide range of general dermatologic concerns. She has strong clinical interests in hidradenitis suppurativa and a whole-person approach to patient care.

Prior to OHSU, she practiced at a rural family medicine clinic for nearly five years before transitioning back to focus on dermatology. She is currently completing the Diplomate Fellowship through the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates to further enhance her dermatologic foundation.

Outside of work, Natoya enjoys spending time with her son and traveling. She particularly enjoys visiting family and friends in the Caribbean.

  4. I was impressed by Natoya Carruthers knowledge and thoroughness of my examination. She explained in detail every step of the procedure, what to expect with advice on follow-up care and answered all of my questions. I also found her concern for my comfort and privacy to be genuine. Overall I am quite pleased to have found a competent and conscientious provider who I trust.

  5. Clinician and staff were good with my care, but wait time was close to 30 minutes after my appointment. And it only took about 15 minutes to be seen in the room.
