About me

I am a family practice physician with clinical expertise in family medicine and a special focus on rural medicine. I provide primary care for both adults and children, including preventative care, basic procedures, contraceptive care, prenatal care, and more. I commonly treat conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.

I was born and raised in and around Bend, Oregon, and spent several years of my childhood in Muak Lek, Thailand. I studied biochemistry at Walla Walla University before earning my M.D. at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. I chose rural family medicine because I value the opportunity to provide broad-spectrum care to patients of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of health. My medical interests include pediatrics, addiction medicine, procedures, and lifestyle medicine.

I strive to provide whole-person care that aligns with each patient’s values and needs. I aim to help people achieve better health through evidence-based medicine, while also considering the lifestyle, social, and other factors that influence overall wellness.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, cooking, playing guitar, hiking, and playing pickleball.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
