About me

Dr. Matthew Kivel is a licensed pediatric psychologist at the Child Development Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Kivel’s expertise is in working with children, adolescents and families dealing with neurodevelopmental differences and chronic medical conditions. He provides assessment services to help families understand their child’s strengths as well as areas of growth. He also supports children, adolescents and families in coping with the unique challenges of living with chronic medical conditions.

In his spare time, Dr. Kivel enjoys cooking, listening to music, traveling and hiking. He also enjoys exploring the city and trying to find the best coffee shops in Portland.
