About me

Keenan Yanit, M.D. feels privileged to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages and from all walks of life. She has special interests in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and medical education and believes a healthy lifestyle is an integral part of her patients' overall well-being.

Although she was born in Southern California, she considers herself an Oregonian. After attending college at the University of Oregon, she completed both her medical school and residency training at OHSU. She is thrilled to be part of an academic institution that prioritizes excellent patient care and community health.

In her spare time, Dr. Yanit enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to travel, and has collaborated on women's health projects in Ethiopia and the Philippines. She speaks intermediate Spanish and enjoys working with diverse patient populations.

  2. The surgeon was annoyed and irritated by my asking questions. This is a major surgery which I have never had. I had questions and concerns and she grew indignant, as if I was questioning HER rather than asking for clarity of surgery and recover.
