About me

I provide care for a wide range of medical concerns, including annual check-ups, chronic conditions such as mental health, diabetes, high blood pressure, and weight management, as well as acute issues like coughs, colds, UTIs/women's health, musculoskeletal pain, and STI testing.

As a family medicine provider, I offer care for patients of all ages, addressing both acute and chronic medical concerns.

I was raised in the Pacific Northwest and feel fortunate to practice primary care in the place I call home. My passion lies in providing thoughtful and personalized care to patients from all walks of life. I was drawn to family medicine because of the variety of care I can provide and the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with my patients. I love getting to know my patients and their stories so we can work together as a team to develop a tailored, realistic plan for their best overall health.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, exploring the Portland restaurant scene, and spending time with my husband and our corgi, Claud! I grew up in Tigard and attended PA school at OHSU, but I also went to college in San Diego and lived in New York City for five years. Because of this, I love to travel and visit friends across the U.S.

  2. Dr. White was awesome. I came in for a problem with my right eye. I had thought it was probably a sty but I wanted to confirm to make sure it wasn't anything serious. She asked me lots of pertinent questions, examined my eyelid and my eyeball (to make sure it wasn't scratched). All while she was doing this she made me feel really comfortable. She asked about my day and the Holiday season. It really helped take my mind off of her poking around my eye. Dr. White explained that I only had to put a warm compress on my eyelid 4 times a day and it would go away. Sure enough, it felt better the next day and after a few days, it was healed. Thanks Dr. White!

  11. I am very glad that Dr. White was assigned as my PCP. I feel seen and heard when I am in the room with her and she has never once tried to claim my medical concerns on my size. I know that when I go to see her, my concerns will be addressed with compassion.

Katie White was personable, listened to my descriptions/issue/concerns & responded appropriately. She answered all of my questions and explained her rationale for the treatment she recommended. I walked out feeling confident with the prescribed treatment plan/next steps & how to follow up, if needed. I would gladly see her again!
