Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

Ratings and reviews

Overall: 4.6 out of 5 (106 Ratings, 14 Reviews)

The patient ratings score is an average of all responses to the question "How likely would you be to recommend this provider to your family and friends (on a scale of 0 to 10)" on our nationally-recognized Press Ganey patient surveys.

  1. Efficient and professional ~ addressed my queries satisfactorily

  2. Very kind, thorough and respectful. Initiated the necessary referral for additional work up.

  3. First time meeting. Not enough time or interaction to know whether I feel comfortable. He was very polite.

  4. I am delighted with this cardiologist and the two young men with whom I interacted.

  5. Friendly, attentive, and listened to my concerns

  6. He addressed my concerns and answered my questions well. It's hard to explain, because he was fine - he just wasn't as amazing as my original cardiologist. (Hers are huge shoes to fill.)

  7. Succinct, distant, by the numbers.

  8. Awesome

  9. He was a bit guarded, but helpful. He was no nonsense which I appreciated. I wish he could have done more for me, but that's not his fault. It wasn't an issue in his specialty.

  10. He seems good. We talked for about 15 min, not a lot of time to form a solid opinion.

  11. He was pleasant enough, but gave no credit to my former cardiologist who has retired and whom I absolutely adored. He also discounted many of my symptoms and basically just brushed me off as being someone who has a problem other than something being wrong with my heart.

  12. I was very impressed with the quality of care for my wellbeing. Doctor D. Went beyond my expectations to help me find the medical attention I am so in need. He also gave me great guidance for keeping my heart healthy.

  13. Couldnt ask for better help

  14. Very thorough questions, excellent explanations, and much appreciated reassurance my heart is fine
