Why aren't there any ratings?

There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one of three reasons:

  1. They do not see patients.
  2. They see patients but have not yet received the minimum number of patient experience reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is statistically reliable and an accurate reflection of patient experience.
  3. They see patients but do not see enough patients to collect a statistically-reliable patient experience rating.

About me

Since 1989, Dr. Ekstrom has worked at Radiology Associates in Eugene, Oregon. He previously served as president of the organization. Dr. Ekstrom earned his medical degree from OHSU. He completed an internship at Tucson Hospital in Tucson, Arizona, a residency in diagnostic radiology and fellowship in pediatric radiology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, and another fellowship in MRI, CT and ultrasound from the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. For four years, Dr. Ekstrom has been a member of the Foundation Board of Directors for the Oregon Institute of Technology. He is also chairman of the LIPA Osteoporosis Committee.

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
