I was greeted with a statement of I am a surgeon who specializes in kidney transplants, what is your concern today. Inference, why are you bothering me with your silly cyst questions. he made me feel stupid for being concerned about it and as if I were wasting his time. I dont doubt he is a stellar surgeon, but his bedside manner could use a little helpwhen I inquired further about additional pain I was having he told me that sounds like a muscle spasm. To which I replied, no I have had those and this is very clearly different and a marked episode of intense pain. He just looked at me like I was dumb and said he didn't know then.

Dr. Barry was patient with my questions and concerns and took the time to make sure I left with no question or concern unanswered. I appreciate his candor and demeanor. Even though the upcoming surgical procedure was going to be "brutal" - I knew I was trusting the right man for the task.

Dr Barry is very knowledgeable and he is very caring and understanding to our concerns. He made every effort to get our appointment in and the surgery in the same week while we were there to see him We did not have to go back later for the surgery. He took care of it all at once. Saved use time and money.
