About me

I’m a physician assistant (PA) and an assistant professor in the School of Medicine, specializing in internal medicine and geriatrics. I work at OHSU as part of the Inpatient Geriatrics Consult Service, where my team and I partner with doctors and surgeons to take care of older adults. We focus on preventing falls, managing multiple medications safely, addressing confusion or delirium, and helping patients and families make decisions about their care and future needs.

In addition to my clinical work, I also lead a group that supports advanced practice providers (APPs) at OHSU. I work with different teams to create opportunities for leadership and professional growth for APPs across the organization.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
