About me
Dr. Saultz specializes in caring for adults with myeloid malignancies and leukemia that require bone marrow transplantation. She has advanced training in immunology and is interested in how the immune system recovers after bone marrow transplant. In particular, she studies the interplay between leukemia cells and natural killer (NK) cells in times of remission and viral challenge. She believes improved understanding of the basic biology of the NK cell will allow us to harness the immune system to treat cancer. Dr. Saultz enjoys working with cancer patients because of the unique opportunity to establish close relationships with them and their family. The potential for new treatments fuels both her love for clinical translational research and patient care.
In her spare time, Dr. Saultz enjoys being outdoors, running, hiking and spending time with her husband and two sons.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
