About me

I am a urologist who specializes in caring for patients with all urologic cancers. I have advanced training in urologic oncology, including both open and robotic surgery which may include treating:

I have also received specialized training in the open extraperitoneal approach that helps speed up recovery after surgery.

I aim to bring warmth, humility and dedication to my career as a surgeon and feel it is an honor to care for and operate on patients with cancer.

I am the first person in my family to go to college and chose to pursue medicine to help people and have a career rooted in ongoing education and learning. As the child of immigrants, the values of hard work and humility were instilled in me at an early age.

I always loved science and fell in love with urology in medical school due to the variety of surgeries performed and the long-term relationships formed with patients, which is especially true in oncology. I also have strong interests in understanding health disparities and caring for underserved populations.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to concerts, shopping, spending time with friends, working out with Peloton, being outdoors, traveling, and most importantly, painting my nails and building my salon-worthy nail polish collection.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
