About me
I’m an endocrinologist who treats adults with endocrinology diseases, and I’ve been dedicated to the field of medicine for over twenty years. I’m board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and offer treatment for patients experiencing issues such as:
- Familial Hypocalciuric Hypercalcemia (FHH)
- Hyperparathyroidism and Hypercalcemic Disorders
- Metabolic Bone Diseases
- Osteoporosis
- Thyroid Cancer
- Thyroid Disorders and Dysfunction
As co-director of the OHSU Thyroid and Parathyroid Program, I work closely with patients to diagnose and treat various thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
My goal is to provide expert, compassionate care tailored to your needs. In addition to patient care, I’m involved in research on understanding how tumors spread at a molecular level.
I earned my M.D. and Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Connecticut in 1998. I completed my Internal Medicine residency at OHSU in 2000, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology in 2003.

As every year I leave calm after my consultation with the Doctor. Madison, excellent health professional.
Took the time to listen to my concerns, and consider multiple causes of problems, and troubleshoot potential solutions, while explaining his reasoning--pro and con--on each option.
Dr. Dana is always polite. He takes his time and frames the chances of recurrence empirically which is very reassuring. He seems to really know current data re: my condition, lab procedures, etc... I appreciated him sharing when the waits are generally shortest and longest at the lab.
