About me

I am a physician associate who cares for patients with prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and kidney cancer. I provide outpatient cancer care, helping patients manage symptoms and understand their treatments, and I review lab and imaging results.

I went to Penn State University, where I earned degrees in Biobehavioral Health and French. During that time, I did a public health internship at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris, France. I also worked on a research project about smoking among French medical students and presented our findings at a conference in Finland. Before starting graduate school, I returned to Paris to teach high school English for a year. I later earned my Master of Science degree from the Mercy University Physician Assistant Program in New York in 2006.

I began my career in women’s health and then moved into gynecologic oncology, where I enjoyed supporting patients through their cancer journeys. When my family moved to Oregon in 2019, I started caring for patients with all types of cancers and benign hematologic conditions.

I have a special interest in fertility preservation for patients with cancer. I have completed coursework related to onco-fertility, and at my prior practice, I helped create an onco-fertility education and screening program to make sure patients understand their fertility preservation options prior to cancer treatment.

At OHSU, I focus on caring for patients with genitourinary malignancies, which are cancers of the urinary and reproductive systems.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
