Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

If you are referring to Dr NaikI think she is excellent
Helpful, professional, good advice
Dr Naik is always thorough & caring
Explained options and was very csrimv
Dr. Naik clearly explained my surgery options and answered my questions, and she was able to schedule a next day appointment with a radiation oncologist to help with my decision making.
I feel very positive as I did four years ago with my first experience.
Not very patient in answering questions. Some questions were not really for a surgeon but there is nobody else to ask.
Best doctors and staff
Limited. She quickly assessed inability to perform surgery; breast tumor to large. Determined appt was unnecessary so ended it. Suggested I circle back after neoadjuvant treatment is completed (reduce tumor size).
She was great! So knowledgeable and warm. Made me feel well taken care of
Dr Naik answered my extensive questions fully
I don't know if I am going to get another chance to talk about Dr. Naik - as the previous questions were about the scheduler and nurse staff - so I want to say something about her here. Dr. Naik is the Michael Jordan of Breast Surgical Oncologists on the West Coast. She is beyond extraordinary. She has blown away my highest expectations with her calm, thorough, patient demeanor and interest in making sure that I completely understand everything to the level of detail that I need to feel confident in the next steps. I feel extraordinarily lucky to be in her care for this scary life event. She is THE BEST. Her staff is THE BEST.
She answered all our questions, and explained my options. I have confidence in her.
She was courteous & professional & concerned re my needs
The mamogram technician was very thorough, sensitive to my discomfort and was a good communicator
Compassionate yet also direct I. Answering questions
Each staff that I spoke with, including doctor, treated me with most respect, privacy, answered all my questions, and professionalism.
I specifically asked for Dr. Niak to be my surgeon. I knew of two other women who had had her as their surgeon and were very happy with her.
Straight shooter who answers questions with compassion, but also knows when to cut to the chase and deliver news that might be difficult to hear. I'm lucky to have had her as my surgeon.
Everyone was very helpful and caring.
She is extremely confident and caring.
Follow up mammography. Clinician is competent, tells me what she is doing or needs to do, is as gentle as can be.
Very caring, friendly and knowledgeable. Very concerned about what I wanted and what felt best to me.
Very supportive
Dr Nail was wonderful The wait was 1 hour.
The doctors always care about how you are feeling.
Dr Naik provided highly valued surgery oncology care pre-surgery to 2.5 years post-lumpectomy surgery, provided very professional and respectful care, discussed procedures and options, and referrals for OHSU annual diagnostic mammas and possible reconstructive plastic surgery. This visit including review of same day favorable diagnostic mammogram results completes my care from Dr Naik. I've had strong confidence and commitment from the diagnosis outset for a successful treatment outcome, thanks largely to Dr Naik and other breast oncology/imaging medical providers.
Excellent appointment. I appreciate the opportunity to have a virtual appointment. Dr naik was very professional, yet approachable. It was easy to understand everything presented.
