About me
I am an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and an Assistant Professor at the OHSU School of Nursing. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) degree from DePaul University in 2023. I have more than eight years of nursing experience in Iowa and Illinois, working in neurology, neurosurgery, radiology, medical-surgical nursing, epilepsy monitoring and clinical research.
I provide primary care for patients from their teen years through older adulthood, focusing on prevention and managing long-term health conditions. I believe in working together with my patients to make care plans that fit their health goals. I especially enjoy caring for older adults, believing that they bring a lifetime of wisdom and deserve to age with grace, maintain their health, and continue enjoying meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, modern art, live music and spending time with my family.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
