About me

I am a neuro-oncologist specializing in the treatment of brain tumors (glioblastoma, astrocytoma, and oligodendroglioma). I offer tailored treatments, including chemotherapy and targeted therapies, while emphasizing supportive care by offering symptom management and palliative care to enhance my patients' quality of life. I work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgeons and radiation oncologists, to ensure comprehensive care.

Building meaningful connections with patients and their loved ones is essential to my approach. I strive to provide compassionate support and understand that each patient's journey is unique. I focus on developing personalized treatment plans that address medical and emotional needs, empowering patients through education and encouragement.

Outside of work, I enjoy biking, exploring museums and going on road trips with family and friends. I also love trying new international cuisines and attending live music events. Prioritizing exercise and reading, whether fiction or nonfiction, helps me maintain a healthy work-life balance and stay inspired.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
