About me

I’m a family medicine doctor who enjoys caring for people of all ages and life stages.

I provide comprehensive care, including:

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Preventive services
  • Management of chronic disease
  • Prenatal and reproductive health care
  • Lifestyle medicine

I also offer my patients outpatient procedures such as

  • Vasectomy
  • Circumcision
  • Contraception
  • Joint injections

My goal is to support each patient’s unique health goals and priorities—whether that means preventive care, managing chronic conditions or improving overall wellness. I’m certified in Lifestyle Medicine and love working with patients on healthy habits to prevent and treat disease.

I grew up in Portland and moved around the country for school, teaching and training—including time in Minnesota, New York and Boston—before happily returning home to Oregon. I’m excited to be part of the East Portland Community Health Center team.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, adventuring with my toddler, cooking, listening to audiobooks and podcasts and relaxing at home.

  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

  3. Dr. White was fantastic, along with the student working with her. The student came in first and went through my entire medical history with me, very thoroughly, since I was a new patient. We discussed the main reasons I was coming here, in addition to establishing care, and what things we could work on looking into at future appointments. When it was unclear in the system whether I was up to date on a vaccine or not, she made sure to look more into it so I wouldn't be getting a vaccine I was already up to date on. The student made sure every concern I had was listed and would be brought up with the provider. When Dr. White joined in later, I felt very heard and listened to about all of my ongoing issues. We were able to set up a plan going forward to begin looking into everything, and I felt like they both took the extra time I needed for my care. This has been the best experience I've had with a doctor, and I'm looking forward to all of my future appointments here.
