I see patients atAbout me
I am a family nurse practitioner who treats children and young adults with urinary system issues including:
- Overactive bladder
- Underactive bladder
- Involuntary wetting
- Voiding dysfunction
- Neurogenic bladder, especially from spina bifida
- Recurring urinary tract infections
I enjoy working with children. My mission is to help patients through holistic, integrative, and evidence-based care. Urinary issues often come with stigma. I want young people to feel good about themselves and know they’re not the only ones dealing with these issues. Together, we can take small, achievable steps to make things better.
Outside of work, I love gardening, beekeeping, raising chickens and ducks, painting and tinkering with tile mosaics.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

Great, very personable
Shelley listens and explains well. She is kind, helpful, and patient.
Didn't have to wait long to see the doctor and the staff was very polite
Condescending, clearly did not want to be there, did not make eye contact on walking in, did not seem to care for my child's comfort at all.
I really liked how they explain and serve you quickly
Shelley is great! She listens and explains very well. She is kind and compassionate. We appreciate her so much!
They are excellent and they know their job.they are excellent in all things no
The staff was amazing! Very friendly, made both my kids feel welcome and special.the doctor was very knowledgeable and reassuring, and went above and beyond to reach out to the scheduling team for us to help avoid potential future scheduling Issues.
She was very informative, gave us options, listen to our concerns and helped us understand what was going on and even demonstrated with objects (her sweater) how adhesions work. We appreciate her willingness to help us understand and even offered to answer more questions over MyChart if we were to have any.
This clinician I felt came into the room with hesitation, she seemed frustrated that we hadn't been briefed by the nurse about what was going to happen at the visit and confused by the referral initially. She was not very personable or curious to connect with my daughter but she was able to give us great ideas, reassurance and good information about next steps. During the visit she softened her approach and my daughter did engage with her but it felt like I did a lot of interpreting and engaging.
She was very friendly and personable, putting my daughter at ease. She spent time letting us talk and explain my daughter's situation before sharing her test results and the course of care.
