About me

Dr. Crockett specializes broadly in gastroenterology and digestive diseases, with a particular interest in screening and prevention of colon cancer. Dr. Crockett has advanced training in epidemiological research, and is actively involved in a number of research projects aimed at optimizing screening and reducing the burden of colorectal cancer in the US.  

When he’s not working, Dr. Crockett enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, running, hiking, biking, skiing, and exploring the world.

  1. Exemplary Care in All Aspects as usual for OHSU

  2. I did not feel listened to despite doing my best to explain clearly and concisely. I don't feel like we are on the same page, so to speak. He was late to the appointment but he did extend the appointment appropriately to make up for it, so I assume it's just a scheduling issue internally. He was direct, which I appreciate. His bedside manner left something to be desired but he wasn't unkind. Lacking better options in our immediate area, he seems to be a decent enough physician.

  9. Both for the procedures and the followup consult, Seth Crockett represented the best of what I expect from an academic health center. He was knowledgeable and careful and patient. He was also extremely respectful - first, in taking the time to help me understand how my other health issues might affect my GI symptoms and, second, in his willingness to help me more forward under his care in ways that I would be most comfortable (such as avoiding unnecessary radiation). I am delighted to be his patient.
