About me

Sarunas Sliesoraitis, D.O., Pharm.D., is a medical oncologist at the CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative who treats cancers and blood disorders such as leukemia, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, malignant neoplasm of the female breast and anemia, among others.

Dr. Sliesoraitis most recently worked for Intermountain Medical Group at Logan Regional Hospital in Utah. During his career, he has also worked as an assistant professor in pharmacy practice and as a staff pharmacist. Early in his career, he worked as a medic and nursing assistant for the U.S. Army National Guard.

Dr. Sliesoraitis earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Connecticut. He also holds a graduate certificate in translational health science from the University of Florida.

Dr. Sliesoraitis completed a fellowship in advanced oncology-hematology drug development through the University of Texas Health Science Center. He also completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Florida.

He completed an internal medicine residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, an oncology pharmacy practice residency at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer & Research Center, and a pharmacy practice residency at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital.

During his career, Dr. Sliesoraitis has received several awards. His work has been published in several publications, highlighting research on both oncology and pharmacology.

Dr. Sliesoraitis is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and many honors societies. He is fluent in Lithuanian.
