She received her surgical training at Loyola University where she developed a passion for complex head and neck reconstruction, prompting her to pursue fellowship training with Dr Mark Wax at OHSU. She is excited to be stay at OHSU to continue to provide her expertise in facial reconstruction which encompasses- microvascular reconstruction for head and neck cancer, neuroplastics, gender affirming facial surgery for transgender patients, and facial trauma.

Dr Yang is passionate about helping her patients to feel seen and heard. Complex reconstruction of the head and neck region can be a challenging journey.
