About me

Sam Paramore's critical care career started in the MICU as a bedside RN in 2010.  In 2017, she completed her DNP at OHSU and wrote her dissertation on vent management in ARDS under the tutelage of Dr. Stephanie Nonas.  After that, she spent 2 years at RiverBend in Eugene in their mixed ICU.  She came back to OHSU right before COVID where she spent 4 years as an NP on 14K with BMT.  Some of her favorite things in medicine include Care of the complex medical patient, the art of the difficult conversation and the integration of early palliative care, quality and operations improvement, and of course, the BMT population.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
