Biography

Sam Paramore's critical care career started in the MICU as a bedside RN in 2010.  In 2017, she completed her DNP at OHSU and wrote her dissertation on vent management in ARDS under the tutelage of Dr. Stephanie Nonas.  After that, she spent 2 years at RiverBend in Eugene in their mixed ICU.  She came back to OHSU right before COVID where she spent 4 years as an NP on 14K with BMT.  Some of her favorite things in medicine include Care of the complex medical patient, the art of the difficult conversation and the integration of early palliative care, quality and operations improvement, and of course, the BMT population.
