About me
I am a nurse practitioner specializing in medical oncology, with a clinical focus on thoracic oncology and head and neck cancers. I care for patients with head and neck cancers, lung cancers, and pleural mesothelioma.
Born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, I have always aspired to a career in the medical field. My journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Hawaii, where I was fortunate to be mentored by inspiring professionals who introduced me to oncology, a specialty that captured my passion. After nearly a decade of bedside nursing, I furthered my career by earning a Master of Science degree at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
With over 25 years of nursing experience, I currently serve as an oncology Advanced Practice Provider, where I remain dedicated to navigating the complexities of care for patients living with cancer.

Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
