About me

Dr. Akhavein enjoys the collaborative nature of her work—from getting to know patients and their families, to teaming up with other specialists. She learns something new from each of her patients, and the most gratifying part of her job is getting to know each of them, teaching patients about their cardiac diseases and partnering with them in their care.

  26. I love Dr. Akhavein- she is compassionate, thorough,focused, warm hearted, , clinically astute The manner in which she explains the cardiac dynamics & folllow up interventions are clear . She involves you & family members in the care plan . It is impressive how she covers so much in such a short time without feeling rushed. In 21 years since I had my heart attack from an adverse drug reaction (Imitrex) she is the absolute best cardiologist I have ever had.
