Biography

Dr. Edwards specializes in surgical and conservative treatment of urinary incontinence and treats various types of pelvic organ prolapse conditions using surgical and minimally invasive surgical techniques. She likes taking time with each patient in order to fully understand her condition and how it impacts her daily life so that they can decide on a treatment together. She also enjoys seeing the successful results of the intervention that she partnered with a patient to choose.

After growing up and studying medicine in the Midwest, Dr. Edwards moved to Portland in 1999 after being in practice in Chicago for four years. She came to OHSU to grow the Urogynecology Division, which only had one provider at the time. She has lead the Center for Women's Health as its Co-Director and currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for OHSU Health.
