About me

Dr. Peter Andersen is a surgeon who specializes in working with doctors from other specialties to care for patients with head and neck cancers and benign tumors. He strives to develop custom treatment plans with the best chance of cure and the mildest side effects.

He leads a specialized team of doctors, nurse practitioners and speech-language pathologists to offer the best care for each patient.

Dr. Andersen is an expert in surgical and nonsurgical care for head and neck tumors, including chemotherapy, radiation and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He and his team can provide the most up-to-date:

  • Reconstructive procedures, to reshape or rebuild the parts of the head and/or neck affected by surgery.
  • Rehabilitation techniques, to improve strength, use and movement and prevent complications after surgery.

In his spare time Dr. Andersen enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, skiing and windsurfing.

  18. Dr. Peter Andersen and his assistant Mike Schuller are as good as it gets. They're both been great throughout this process. Thanks to Dr. Andersen, I have overcome my throat/neck cancer and have not had any major issues following surgery other than some difficulty speaking Immediately after the surgery which I've long since overcome completely. Both Dr. Andersen and Mike Schuller have been great in their post-surgery follow-up and in monitoring my well being. I always feel that I'm in great hands with both of them on my side.
