Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  27. I was very pleased with the whole experience at OHSU. I am mobility handicapped and need a wheelchair that was provided at registration and had help to the 9th floor. The staff said I was a little early, but they had a beautiful view of the city and the time passed quickly. Then, I was taken to the exam room and review with Dr. Anderson and his assistant. I was allowed to share my previous probles with other locations and problems with the aspiration of my left and right Parotid gland. I said it needs further examination. I was happy to have the interest and agreement from Dr.Andersen. I was very happy to know of his experience and he supported finding a colleague who could do another aspiration. The next day, I was surprised when he called personally with a plan...amazing customer service.
