Why aren't there any ratings?

There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one of three reasons:

  1. They do not see patients.

About me

Dr. Michael Esson is a current resident trainee in the OHSU Department of Dermatology. Our residents are licensed medical doctors undergoing specialty training in dermatology. As an academic medical center, you may receive care from our residents under the supervision of an attending physician.

Dr. Michael Esson joins OHSU Dermatology after completing medical school at Medical College of Wisconsin. His clinical interests include global dermatology, skin of color, tropical diseases and procedural dermatology. Dr. Esson is excited to now reside in the Portland area, as he plans to take advantage of all of the outdoor activities the Pacific Northwest has to offer. He also enjoys soccer, poems, yoga and meditation, and road trips.

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
