About me

I am a Physician Associate at the Knight Cancer Institute. I earned my Master of Medical Science from Emory University in 2021 and went on to complete an APP fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle. Following my fellowship, I worked in the ACE clinic at Fred Hutch where I cared for patients experiencing acute issues related to cancer and cancer treatment. This experience allowed me to help patients navigate the often complex side effects and challenges that can accompany cancer care.

My approach to patient care is grounded in compassion, clear communication, and collaboration. I strive to make sure my patients feel heard and informed, and I believe that building a trusting relationship is an important part of providing excellent cancer care.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the PNW, seeing orcas in the wild, and spending time on the sound.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
