Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  27. I have been a patient loyal to OHSU for over 30 years b/c of the consistent atmosphere of professionalism, respect and courtesy displayed by all OHSU employees; not just medical staff but including housekeeping, clerical and reception, food services, transportation just to name a few. Whether it is training, hiring screening practices, general ambience, a dedication to the profession or a combination of all these factors, I have always been treated as a person whose needs and concerns are respected rather than feeling as though I am being processed thru a machine.

  28. I had a good discussion with Kristin Childress. She was very knowledgeable of my problem concerning my high calcium level and parathyroid being elevated.

  29. She listens better than most doctors and tries to work with me instead of just following her own agenda.

  30. Excellent
