About me
I'm a nurse practitioner specializing in cardiomyopathies, conditions that affect the heart muscle. I focus on:
- Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
- Cardiac amyloidosis
- Fabry's disease
These are complex, often genetic conditions that require specialized, ongoing care, and I'm proud to be part of the dedicated team at OHSU that treats them.
Before becoming an advanced practice provider, I spent seven years as a nurse in a cardiac surgery ICU. That experience gave me a deep, hands-on understanding of how seriously heart conditions can affect patients and their families.
I believe the best care is grounded in the latest research. I'm actively involved in clinical research trials here at OHSU alongside my patient care work. My goal is to make sure every patient I see has access to the most current, evidence-based treatments available.
When I'm not at work, I love spending time with my husband and our two children. I enjoy hiking in the summer and hitting the ski slopes in the winter.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
