Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

  1. I and my family have been very impressed with the care, understanding, and pre and post surgical procedure information shared with us.

  2. Very kind and attentive, gave me helpful information

  3. Felt very comfortable and treated well.

  4. Every person I met that was involved with my procedure was very helpful and super informative of what they were there for, involving my procedure and they were incredibly helpful to what would be addressed during the procedure. I felt safe the entire time

  5. Absolutely amazing, felt listened to and cared for by Dr. Burli, Carli, Vanessa, and the whole team. Thank you so much

  6. Dr. Berli came in and very briefly spoke with me about the procedure. I got to mention a problem from the previous surgery that needed revising, but otherwise we hardly spoke.

  7. Patient, knowledgeable, informative

  8. Is it was a good experience. They let me know how my surgery is going to be.

  9. Honest, professional, personable.

  10. He's very skilled in the surgery that I want and its obvious he knows what he's doing. However I think he is hard to communicate with. I felt like my input and my therapist of more than 5 years opinion were ignored due to this doctors personal experience with mental health understanding. His recommendation that I see the on site psychologist feels like a way to drag out my procedure when my longterm therapist has already evaluated and approved me.

  11. Jens Berli was amazing and all his staff were kind and answered my questions

  12. Freindly ,informative ,confident and concerned about any possible issues that may arrise at tine of surgery. Suggested that I see a cardiologist regarding my history and asked me to get a blood panel to check my platelet counts ,protein and iron levels.

  13. I really liked Dr. Berli. He treated me with dignity and respect.

  14. It was immaculate

  15. I was very pleased with his work and how confident he made me feel about something I was very nervous about in general.

  16. Everyone I've interacted with has been wonderful! Dr. Berli was lovely.

  17. Dr Berli (and his resident) was very attentive, professional, appropriate, and approachable. They both carefully LISTENED and considered my concerns while actively soliciting my opinions and views on what _I_ desired from Gender Confirming Facial Surgery. They asked what was right for ME and then told me what was and was not possible in regards to the procedures available and insurance restrictions. Best of all, Dr Berli asked to start from a clean slate and this fresh start was the perfect way to approach my needs. Really, I could not be more pleased!

  18. It was a wonderful experience

  19. He was very friendly and knowledgeable

  20. Dr. Berli was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and actually seemed like he cared

  21. They were very courteous and polite. And they answered all questions I had concerning the procedure, relieving any anxiety I might have had.

  22. I recommend OHSU to everyone I know who is looking for care.

  23. Very comfortable
