About me

I am a family medicine doctor who provides primary care to patients of all ages. I have a special interest in working with patients on:

  • Lifestyle medicine
  • Reproductive health
  • Substance use disorders
  • Adolescent medicine

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, I gained an early appreciation for community medicine. I chose family medicine because of my desire to form collaborative, long-lasting relationships with patients and to help integrate and promote health and well-being into the larger community as well.

Before and during medical school, I became passionate about working with patients affected by substance use disorders. I am honored to help patients and their families navigate addiction with compassion, respect and evidence-based practice.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog, finding new restaurants and hiking trails. I am excited to explore the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
