About me

Eliza Thompson is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for rheumatology and healthcare equity. She has a special interest in helping patients understand and navigate their chronic diseases. Eliza started her career at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in Primary Care. She is originally from Honolulu, HI and received her Doctorate in Advanced Nursing Practice at Columbia University. She is a recipient of the Rheumatology Research Foundation for Work Expansion grant of 2023.

  1. She was very kind. She listened to allOf my pain issues! She understood what I was saying and a good listener and followed up by getting x RAY and I felt very safe with her! Also appreciated my rheumatologist sending me to the perfect person for me! I don't know if there is any help for my problem but if there is I feel she would letMe know! I give her an A PLUS

  2. It was obvious Eliza had completely familiarized herself with my test results and medical history prior to my appointment. She was so thorough and considerate. She explained really complex medical issues in a way I could understand and with obvious compassion for my feelings.

  18. Eliza Thompson was just superb. She was right on time and so friendly and welcoming. She did a great job of explaining the procedure very carefully and then so efficiently and without any pain administered the two injections into my very skinny hands which took quite a bit of skill, I'm sure She explained the procedure and what the follow up would be and gave us any information we needed. She was excellent.

  19. Dr Thompson is a very caring doctor. She explains everything so that I understand. She answers all of my questions. When I saw earlier this year I had mentioned that my mom was in the hospital and rehab. This visit she asked how my mom was doing. I thought this was very kind of her.

  28. I wish I had started with Eliza with the beginning of my PMR a year-and-a-half ago. While I do appreciate my current PCP, Eliza knew so much more about this baffling disease. I feel confident that I got complete and helpful information on how to move forward at this stage of things. She asked pertinent questions, listened well, and helped me better understand what I have been going through. She did not doubt my account of things, which was a great comfort.
