About me
Dr. MacRosty is an Interventional Pulmonologist who specializes in minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat conditions involving the lungs, airways, and pleural space. She works within a multidisciplinary team focused on lung cancer and other diseases involving the lungs and chest. Dr. MacRosty strives to provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a respectful and inclusive patient-centered environment.
Dr. MacRosty earned her medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency in Charleston, West Virginia and served as Chief Resident. Dr. MacRosty went on to complete fellowship training in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, serving as Chief Fellow in her last year. She then completed fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology at the University of North Carolina where she participated in clinical research and medical education. Dr. MacRosty was on faculty at UNC as an Assistant Professor of Medicine for over 3 years where she served as Associate Program Director of the Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship.
Dr. MacRosty moved to Eugene, Oregon in 2023 where she was Medical Director of Pulmonology and Interventional Pulmonology at a hospital in the Eugene-Springfield area. She joined OHSU in 2025 to resume her commitment to medical education in an academic setting.
Dr. MacRosty’s clinical and academic interests include pleural disease, bronchoscopic lung volume reduction, procedural and medical education.
Outside of work, Dr. MacRosty enjoys reading, painting, traveling and hiking with her husband, and spending time with their cat, Sea Bass and their dog, David Bowie.
