About me
I am a board-certified general adult psychiatrist, seeing patients at the OHSU clinic for medication management and psychotherapy. I am also involved in supervising residents in the training clinic. My clinical interests include trauma disorders, chronic stress and its contribution to mental health disorders, acceptance and commitment therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I also have a budding interest in neurofeedback and psychedelic therapies as potential treatments.
I completed my residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. During my training, I was involved in a mentorship program with the New Orleans-Birmingham Psychoanalytic Institute.
I take a holistic approach to understanding my patients and the life experiences that have shaped them. My treatment is collaborative, where the patient and I work together as a team to find the best approach for their care.
Outside of work, I enjoy music, going to live performances, and playing music in my free time. I also love reading—particularly fiction, philosophy, and magical realism—as well as movies, multimedia art, and spending time outdoors.

Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
