About me

Dr. Brianna Chai grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and has zig-zagged her way across the country to further her education.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Deaf Studies from California State University Northridge in 2012 and went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology from University of Colorado Boulder in 2016.  Dr. Chai specializes in pediatrics, having completed her externship training at Boston Children’s Hospital and years working as a pediatric audiologist in California.  She then returned to learning in 2022 to complete specialty training in cochlear implants through a two-year Cochlear Implant Fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina.  Dr. Chai’s goal is to provide evidence-based, family-centered care in a supportive and safe environment for patients and their families from all walks of life, and to help guide them on their journey to meaningful communication.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
