Biography

Dr. Brianna Chai grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and has zig-zagged her way across the country to further her education.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Deaf Studies from California State University Northridge in 2012 and went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology from University of Colorado Boulder in 2016.  Dr. Chai specializes in pediatrics, having completed her externship training at Boston Children’s Hospital and years working as a pediatric audiologist in California.  She then returned to learning in 2022 to complete specialty training in cochlear implants through a two-year Cochlear Implant Fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina.  Dr. Chai’s goal is to provide evidence-based, family-centered care in a supportive and safe environment for patients and their families from all walks of life, and to help guide them on their journey to meaningful communication.
