About me

Dr. Sdrulla is a board certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist. He is a dedicated physician-scientist using basic science research and state-of-the-art technology to combat chronic pain.

He specializes in the treatment of patients with complex, persistent pain in the spine, cancer pain, neuropathic pain (e.g. complex regional pain syndrome), shingles pain (post herpetic neuralgia) and post-surgical pain. He has advanced training in performing implantations of spinal cord stimulators for the treatment of unrelenting pain. Dr. Sdrulla strongly believes in the multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach to chronic pain championed here at Oregon Health & Science University.

When not working, Dr. Sdrulla spends time with his family, including his wife who is a nurse practitioner, and his three children. When he does get some free time to himself, he enjoys reading, jogging, playing tennis, and fly fishing.

If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
