About me
I am a family medicine doctor with a focus on sports medicine.
I practice comprehensive care with a focus on lifestyle modification to help prevent and manage chronic disease. I also use diagnostic and interventional ultrasound to evaluate and treat both acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries.
Whether you’re an athlete or simply someone who wants to stay active, I enjoy helping people of all ages optimize their health and readiness for the activities they love.
I see the physician-patient relationship as a partnership, and I’m dedicated to helping my patients reach their goals through education, collaboration and evidence-based care.
I grew up in Portland, and after spending time out of state for medical school, I’m thrilled to be back serving my community. I chose to specialize in Family and Sports Medicine because I value building long-term relationships with my patients and believe that movement is medicine. Staying active—in any form—is an essential part of a healthy and happy life. My own love of running and nutrition continues to inspire how I practice and connect with my patients.
Outside of work, I enjoy trail running, gravel biking, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. To fuel all of that movement, I love to cook, bake and explore Portland’s incredible restaurant scene.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
