About me
Alexa Roy is a registered nurse who provides care for adult patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. She is licensed in Oregon and holds a multistate RN license as well. Alexa obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Portland and a Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona. Her professional experience includes working as a nurse and health educator in pediatric and adult mental health, school health and at a camp for kids with type 1 diabetes. She is passionate about promoting mental health in combination with physical health.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two rescue dogs, trying out new recipes and engaging in creative projects. She also served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Uganda and values cross-cultural exchanges.
