About me

Dr. Guggenheim specializes in the care of children and adults with chronic pain and joint hypermobility disorders. She enjoys working with patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and associated complex symptoms. She likes to help patients navigate health care options and empowering them to make informed decisions.

When not seeing patients Dr. Guggenheim enjoys spending time in nature with her family and riding horses.

  2. Dr Guggenheim is very knowledgeable about my health conditions and is the best doctor I've ever seen. I feel understood and I trust her opinion and recommendations. I wish there were more doctors with her expertise to help chronic illness patients.

  6. Dr. Guggenheim is the very best doctor that I have ever seen. It is such a blessing to have an incredibly intelligent EDS specialist on my team. I know many with my conditions are not as lucky. I only wish she had much better and more competent support staff and the clinic was possible to access. I'm unsure how its acceptable to have a medical clinic that is literally impossible to access.

  8. Dr. Guggenheim is Wonderful. Please get more practitioners that can do what she does. I have recommended several people to her that have not received help for their situations, but the last I heard she was not accepting new patients. Please do everything you can to keep them.

  10. Dr Guggenheim has extremely specific expertise required to treat my conditions and she will have referrals for specialist that she already knows take OHP (not the case with many doctors) Her compassion and honesty always helps me feel less about current symptoms.

She understands my complex medical conditions, listens, is extremely knowledgeable, is personable, always up to date on current research, and always has suggestions or solutions for my medical needs. She's also the only provider I have who starts her appointments with a review of our last appointment and follows up on decisions we made then to check on my progress and see what difficulties I may have had following our plan.

She has helped me to get to the bottom of my epigastric pain; she is helping with pain management as I wait for surgery; and she is addressing the things I can do now (e.g., nutrition) that will help with recovery post surgery.
