Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  1. The Dr. Did not treat us with respect nor did he seem to care about our concerns

  2. Clinician and medical student were very friendly and easy to talk with.

  3. Thorough, kind, caring

  4. Dr Raslan was easy to talk to, listened to what I had to say, was compassionate and kind, thorough in giving information.

  5. Well versed on subject and explained the needed procedure

  6. He was brief but to the point. Rushed for time.

  7. He wasn't prepared enough at this visit to know what surgery he had done prior. The other big issue being the appointment lasting minutes long, very easily could have been a phone visit but I'm unsure on who's to blame for that. The question I did have were pushed of for neurology as he was just there for the surgery and I really wish I had known that prior.

  8. Polite and instructive.

  9. Communicated well, with compassion and kindness.

  10. Very nice!

  20. We waited in the waiting room longer than my actual appointment lasted. I got maybe 10 min to talk to the doc, it felt very rushed. I am from out of town. I was given referrals for tests to be done. Turns out the test code was wrong & I am waiting for the doc to send a clarification back to the hospital where I will be doing the test. I also read the visit notes & it incorrectly stated I was there for consideration of a lumbar fusion. We never talked about my lumbar, this visit was for my cervical issues & chronic pain. Feeling highly disappointed in this whole experience.

  21. Kind, calm, great bedside manner. Was very reassuring. Didn't feel rushed.
