About me
Dr. Stephen Roberts specializes in caring for children with cancer. In particular, Dr. Roberts is an expert in neuroblastoma, a rare tumor of the adrenal gland. Dr. Roberts did his fellowship training at OHSU and then served for eight years in the U.S. Army before working at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City for the past 11 years. Dr. Roberts returned to OHSU to serve as the head of the pediatric hematology oncology division and also serves as the associate director of the Knight Cancer Institute for pediatric oncology. Dr. Roberts is passionate about improving care for children with cancer; his laboratory research is focused on understanding how neuroblastoma develops, with the goal of identifying new and less toxic ways to treat the disease.
Dr. Roberts’ wife is a professional opera singer and massage therapist, and together they have two grown daughters. Dr. Roberts is an avid runner, having completed 18 marathons, including the Portland Marathon.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
