I see patients atAbout me
I am a pediatrician who cares for children aged newborn to young adults. I offer:
- Well-child visits
- Illness care
- Autism evaluations
- Inpatient care of newborns
Whether I'm seeing a brand-new baby or a teenager navigating the challenges of adolescence, my goal is always the same: to build a relationship built on trust and respect, and to make sure both kids and their parents feel genuinely heard and supported.
I continue to enjoy developing respectful and trusting relationships with those whom I have the opportunity to serve. I am committed to empowering patients to learn to care for their bodies as they grow while providing support to parents and children as they manage the various medical, behavioral and psychological challenges of childhood, adolescence and parenthood.
I strive to communicate clearly while delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care to all of those for whom I provide care. I truly love interacting with and caring for children of all ages and I feel so lucky to be able to do this job every day.
I grew up in Wisconsin and earned my degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison before attending the Medical College of Wisconsin for medical school. I then headed west to San Francisco for my pediatric residency and spent about 10 years practicing in the Bay Area, in both Marin County and the city, before making my way to Portland. Most recently, I was part of The Vancouver Clinic in Washington before joining OHSU in early 2025. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to challenge myself in new ways, such as teaching, while continuing to learn and care for patients at OHSU.
When not caring for patients, I enjoy reading, cooking, trying to keep my plants alive, loving on my pets, getting outside and spending time with my wife and our two children, who challenge us every day to become better people.
