About me

With a Ph.D. in counseling and as an LPC associate, Dr. Siham Alswayel is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, cultural sensitivity, cultural sensitivity and evidence-based care. In addition to trauma and cross-cultural mental health, she enjoys working with individuals and couples experiencing relationship difficulties, attachment concerns, anxiety and depression.

Dr. Alswayel's therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and strength-based. She employs different perspectives from different modalities, including: CBT, DBT and somatic therapy.

Outside work, Dr. Alswayel enjoys hiking, cooking and reading.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
