Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

He was kind and very understanding. I felt heard and validated with my experience.
Was very thorough. Let me know what options I had to remedy my need and made sure I understood when I needed to see a doctor if not better
Clinician was well engaged and helped me to the best of his abolilty with care and understanding.
He listened carefully and dispensed timely advice in terms of the importance of being seen immediately by an ER facility and specialists.
This was my first visit with this provider, but he was great to work with. He was confident in his observations, and that made me feel he was very qualified and deserves his title. If I didnt love working with my PCP, I would absolutely want him as my primary. Also- this is the first time I did not feel rushed, and he logged in promptly. It was a pleasure.
I appreciated how he asked questions related to my history before making a plan and that the plan he did offer wasn't directly only antiobiotics, but trying other things and then having me make a follow up of that doesn't work.
Friendly, listened to my issues with concern
He was very well informed, very willing to engage In a dialogue with me, and made concrete and clear suggestions. My problem was something that was extremely complex and the typical response is too often a simple reading of standard protocols. This appointment was a pleasant surprise. I now have the tools to manage what I'm facing.
