About me
Puneet's first job after graduation was working with Dr. Hayflick's NBIA research team to develop the written and graphic content of the NBIAcure.org website. She now continues to work in Dr. Hayflick's lab as the website master, but has additional duties, including database development for NBIA natural history studies and genetic counseling for patients seen through the NBIA Center of Excellence.
In addition to her research work, Puneet sees patients in a variety of genetics clinics, including Pediatric Genetics, Adult Neuro-Oncology Genetics and Adult General Genetics. She enjoys working with both children and adults and providing genetic counseling about a wide range of conditions.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
